If you have been following my blog for some time, you know that I have a thing for Canadian Tire Money. Well tonight was an updated count and we hit $2956.30. This is a momentus occasion as we were able o roll in just over $1000 of bills that I was able to buy from the Gateway Entertainment Group who collected it in their bars on Canada Day.

What many people don't know is that a collection can easily be sold on par with real money to other collectors who then go through and find bills that are rare or interesting. Some of my collection goes as far back as 1962 when the money was only issued by the gas bars. I have even bought a collectors guide and some day I'll go through the collection and look for some of those rare bills. Until then, I just like to count it.

If your thinking what will I do with all of this, my plan is to give it to my daughters as wedding gifts, and they can go through the trouble of taking iti to a store and having them count it.
